reminders

Don't forget tomorrow is picture day! 

There is a Common Core Parent Information Meeting tomorrow too.  August 23rd @ 6:30 pm.  It is very important that all parents attend.  This will help you understand our new standards and report card.  The meeting is in the library.  I hope you all can attend!

Please check their planner and folder daily.  Homework assignments, when we have them, will be written in planner.

Weekly Newletter

No homework, spelling or reading story this week!  We are learning about bugs and insects all week. 

Here is a list of upcoming activities.  Please put these on your calendar!
May 18th
Field Day-Please make sure your child wears tennis shoes. 

Monday, May 21st

Jumpy Day
          * Your child needs to wear comfortable clothes.         
Game Day
*Have your child bring their favorite board or card game to play with their friends. NO VIDEO GAMES PLEASE!

Tuesday, May 22nd

Read-a-thon Day

*Students can bring their favorite books to read.  They also need to bring a towel, drink, and snack.  They can bring a hat or sunglasses to wear if they want.

Wednesday, May 23rd
Movie Madness
*We will watch some of our favorite movies.  Your child can bring their favorite snack and drink to have during the movie.

Thursday, May 24
Last day of school! This is a half-day so we will dismiss @11:00.
