Reading
and Phonics:

We will learning
about animals and their habitats this week. We will be reading many different
books Deep in the Jungle, How Leo Learned His Lesson, Animal
Habitats, A House is a House for Me, and many others!

We will studying
the inflected ending –s and –ing this week.
Grammar:

We will be will work
on word order in sentences.
Comprehension:

We will be working
on main idea this week.
Spelling:
Please practice
daily! We will have a spelling test on
Friday.

Math:
This week in math we are starting to
work on simple addition by making numbers 6-9.
We will also start adding 0, 1, and 2.
Please continuing working on ordering numbers with your child at home
and counting to 120.
Science: We will be focusing on animal habitats.
