are learning about pumpkins this week!
On Friday, please send a small pumpkin with your child. They have to be able to carry it. We are going to do lots of fun measuring activities
with our pumpkins. Thank you!
Reading
and Phonics:

about Fall and pumpkins this week. We will be reading Fresh Fall Leaves,
Scarecrow Boy, Colorful Leaves, The Runaway Pumpkin, Perfect
Pumpkins, Pumpkin Circle, From Seed to Pumpkin and many
others!

Grammar:

on nouns.
Comprehension:

We will be working
on author’s purpose this week.
Spelling:
Please practice
daily! We will have a spelling test on Friday.

This week in math we are working on shapes.
Please work with your child at home on basic addition and subtraction facts. Also
practice writing numbers to 120.
