and Phonics:

We will be learning
about animals and their habitats this week.
We will be reading many different books like Deep in the Jungle, How
Leo Learned to Be King, Animal Habitats, A House is a House for
Me, and many others!

We will be studying
the inflected ending –s and –ing this week.
Grammar:

We will be
working on word order in sentences.
Spelling:
Please practice daily! We will have a spelling test on
Friday.

Math:

This week in math
we are starting to work on simple addition by making numbers 6-9. Please continue working on ordering numbers
with your child at home and counting to 120.
Science:

We will be
focusing on animal habitats.
